Purple Canvas is a Munich-based art studio specialising in bespoke artwork and curated art concepts for hospitality, cruise ships, corporate and residential interiors.
Working closely with architects, interior designers and project teams, we develop artwork that responds to the architecture, atmosphere and individual identity of each project.
From individual statement pieces to extensive multi-room installations, our designs can be adapted in colour, scale, format and material to create a cohesive connection between art and interior.
DESIGN & CREATIVE DIRECTION
Our artwork is developed inhouse, giving us the flexibility to create, adapt and refine concepts specifically for each project.
Our portfolio ranges from contemporary abstract artwork and photography to mixed-media compositions, hand-finished editions and original works. Beyond the designs presented on our website, an extensive archive of artwork is available for individual project requirements.
FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCTION
Design and production are closely connected at Purple Canvas. Artwork is produced inhouse on carefully selected materials including Fine Art Paper, canvas and specialist substrates, with bespoke formats and framing solutions available according to the requirements of the interior.
This integrated approach allows us to maintain precise control over colour, scale, material and finishing throughout the creative and production process.
ART CONSULTANCY & COLLABORATION
For project-specific artwork development, we work from architectural plans, elevations, interior renderings, mood boards and colour concepts supplied by the design team.
Our art consultancy includes curated artwork selections and bespoke visual concepts tailored to the architecture, interior concept and design language of each project.
